Success Stories

PHOENIX, AZ - USA

SCENARIO

In 2019, as part of a larger infrastructure planning effort, the City of Phoenix conducted a trial with the Nautilus System. One of the primary goals of this trial was to identify an accurate and cost-effective leak assessment tool for a long-term asset management program.

RESULTS

In the benchmarking exercise conducted, the Nautilus System stood out to be the most effective tool among the proven technologies: it achieved superior precision by pinpointing the exact location of the leak points and detected a greater number of incidents for half the cost of the alternative system.

“Hidromax put the Nautilus to the test in a head-to-head competition in Phoenix, Arizona, on 4 miles of a 20 and 24-inch water main. Nautilus accurately identified and located 3 leaks and an air pocket, outperforming the competition, and proving its effectiveness while remaining significantly more profitable.”
